Maurizio has been racing Pontiacs since the young age of 17. These Pontiacs include a 1967 Firebird, 1970 GTO, 1974 GTO, 1977 Astre, 1979 Trans Am, 1993 Grand Prix and his most recent 2007 GTO. In 1993 Maurizio debuted his Grand Prix at the Performance World Car show taking home several awards including Competition Car Grand Champion and Top Ten Car in Show. Also that year, he was the runner up at the Tri Power Nationals at Norwalk Raceway Park along with being featured on the TV show NHRA Today. In 1996, he won his first Super Gas race at Cayuga Dragway Park, and in 2005 he was the number one qualifier at the Mopar Canadian Nationals in the Super Rod class. Maurizio now takes just as much pleasure in watching his son behind the wheel then being in the cockpit himself.

Michael has been around the drag strips ever since he was in huggies. He started his drag racing career when he was 18 driving his dads 1996 Grand Prix. Ever since then, he has been hooked on it and one day sees a career as a professional driver. In 2006, Michael became the youngest drag racer ever to win the Kauffman Racing Equipment Quick 16 at the Ames Performance Tri Power Pontiac Nationals. Also that year, he was runner up at a Top Sportsman race at Grand Bend Motorplex. In 2007, he scored two semi final finishes. In 2008, he was the number 1 qualifier at the Kauffman Racing Equipment Quick 16 with a blistering 7.59 @ 179 mph. Today, Michael is currently the second fastest naturally aspirated Pontiac driver of all time and fastest in Canada with an elapsed time of 7.53 @ 184 mph. Going forward, Michael hopes to compete in more Top Sportsman events eventually leading to a championship.
